Pakistan confirmed their 10th consecutive ODI series win over the West indies

 Pakistan vs West indies 2nd ODI:Baber Azam, Imam ul Haq, Nawaz confirm 10th consecutive ODI Series win over the West indies.

Skipper Baber Azam and Imam ul Haq hit steady half centuries before Muhammad Nawaz his best figures as Pakistan beat the west indies by 120 runs in the 2nd one-day international day night match at Multan.

Azam scored a 93 balls 77 runs Imam ul Haq a run-a-ball 72 both hitting their sixth successive half centuries as Pakistan made 275-8 in their 50 overs.

Left arm Muhammad Nawaz achieved his career best bowling figures of 4-19 as the visitors were bowled out all for 155 in 32.2 overs.

This win give Pakistan an unbeaten 2-0 lead in three match series and their 10th consecutive ODI Series win over the West indies.

Pakistan last ODi series defeat to West indies was back in 1991.The two wins give Pakistan 20 valuable points in the ODI Super League, a qualification  round for 2023 world Cup in India.

Chasing 276, West indies lost their first match century Shai Hope maker just for four runs in the first over to Shaheen Shah Afridi, but Shamarah Brooks (42) and Kyle Mayers (33) added 67 for the 2nd wicket.

And then with the magic of Nawaz,s bowling west indies failed to face the Muhammad Nawaz deliveries and they lost their wickets.

Powell (10) and Nicholas Pooran (25) as West indies lost five wickets just for 48 runs, including four of just 18.

Nawaz previous best figures of 4-42 were against the same opponents in Sharjah six years ago.

Fast bowler Waseem finished with 3-34 while Shadab Khan took 2-40.

Pakistan lead the series 2-0.The last match is on Sunday. All three are in Multan.

Earlier Baber Azam who set the most records for himself won the toss and elected to batting first against West indies.

With a good knock of opener Imam ul Haq and Baber Azam, s half centuries Pakistan was able to score 275.8 in their 50 overs.

But West indies lost their early wickets and then didn't come back to this match.West Indies lose the match but they lose the series also.

Baber Azam hit his 3 successive hundreds in 3 consecutive ODIS, and he become a first player to achieve the milestone of two hatrics of centuries. Baber Azam  this at the age of 26. Pakistan seniors plyers also admired his batting skills and hope for the best in future.
