Pakistan and West indies series venue

Lahore:Pakistan and West indies series venue changed and shifted from Rawalpindi to Multan.

West indies team came to Pakistan for 3 matches ODI,S series held in Rawalpindi,but due to political unrest venue shifted to Multan starting June 8.

However,the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has dismissed all the rumours and clarified that the three match series that is part of the ICC World Cup League will happen as scheduled.

Multan has been announced as the backup.

PCB media director Sami Ul Hassan Burney said that PCB is yet to announced that where the matches will be schedule.An official confirmation will be rolled out shortly.

West indies are scheduled to arrive on June 5 and the PCB asked the players to assemble the training camp in Rawalpindi on June 1.

It is important for visitors to know where to reach before booking while the broadcasters and  their equipment must arrive on time.

Meanwhile,the venue has been changed from Rawalpindi to Multan on the advise of federal government.

The development comes after defiant PTI leader Imran Khan gave a six-day ultimatum to the Sharif -led coalition government to dissolve the assemblies and announce an election.
