Australian legendary cricketer Andrew Symonds dies in car crash

 Legendary Australian all-round cricketer Andrew Symonds dies in a car accident at the age of 46.

This is yet another tragic blow to Australian cricket .Symonds is the third Australian cricket Legend to suddenly passed away this year following the tragic death of Shane warne and Rod Marsh.

Andrew was a generational talent who was instrumental in Australia success at World cup and a part of Queensland rich cricket history.

On behalf of Australian cricket our deepest sympathies are with andrew,s family, team-mates and friends.

In the 26 test he played for Australia.Symonds scored 1462 runs at 40.61 and picked up 24 wickets.

He scored a superb unbeaten of 162 against India in the 2008 Sydney test ,which helped the hosts to 122 runs history. However,the match ended in controversy over the monkey gate scandle.


The all-rounder accused India spinner Harbhajan Singh of calling him monkey,which triggering a verbal confrontation between the two teams and India threated to cancel the tour after Harbhajan was initially suspended for three matches.

Symonds was burn in Brimingham but shifted base to Australia with his adoptive parents according to cricket.com.au.He became an integral part of winning squard of 2003 and 2007 world cups .
